PC Download Guide
If you want to play Heartopia on PC right now, here's how:
Option 1: TapTap Client (Recommended)
- Visit the official Heartopia website: heartopia.xd.com
- Download the TapTap PC client
- Install TapTap and search for "Heartopia"
- Download and install the game through TapTap
- Create or log in to your account and start playing!
Progress Carries Over
Don't worry about losing progress when Steam launches! Your game data is tied to your account, so it will transfer seamlessly to Steam when available.
Option 2: Wait for Steam
If you prefer Steam, you can wishlist Heartopia now. The developers are "hard at work polishing every detail" for the Steam release. Expected in 2026.
Steam Deck (Community Workaround)
Heartopia does not officially support Steam Deck or controllers yet. Community reports suggest installing the TapTap launcher as a non-Steam app and running it with Proton Experimental. Controls require manual mapping via Steam Input and results can vary.
Play the PC Version on Mobile (OSLink)
OSLink is a third-party remote streaming tool that lets your phone connect to the PC version of Heartopia. This is useful when you want PC gameplay on mobile without installing the full client.
