The bugs listed here are reported by players in the community. To report bugs directly to the official developers for fixes, please use the official Discord server: discord.gg/heartopia (check the #bug-reports channel).
This page serves as a community resource to help players identify common issues and find temporary workarounds while waiting for official fixes.
Try pressing the Windows key (PC) to unlock controls temporarily, or use the "Relocate" feature in Settings. If stuck in umbrella, close and reopen umbrella.
Contact official support to manually unlock recipes, or restart on new account. Do not skip tutorial dialogue.
Ensure account is properly bound to Google/Apple/TapTap. Try logging out and back in. Contact support with UID and device info.
Use "Relocate" feature in Settings, or contact support with UID for manual character repositioning.
Press Windows key to temporarily unlock controls. Restart game frequently. Avoid fishing during ship events.
Verify game files (Steam), check keyboard bindings in Settings, disconnect any controllers or virtual gamepad drivers, restart computer, or reinstall game.
Verify game files, update graphics drivers, disable overlays, check antivirus exclusions, or reinstall game.
Clear TapTap cache, run as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, ensure enough disk space, or reinstall TapTap client.
Wait several hours for natural hunger decrease. Restart game to refresh pet status. If persists, contact support - this is a pet hunger tracking bug.
Contact support immediately - this makes cat unusable. Support may need to restore energy or investigate pet data corruption.
Restart the game to reset pet position. Avoid placing pet beds or furniture on elevated structures, near stairs, or in multi-story buildings. Keep pets on ground floor only. If pet remains stuck after restart, use the "Recall Pet" function if available, or contact support for manual pet repositioning.
Check all storage locations (inventory, storage boxes, mailbox). Contact support with account ID for item restoration.
AVOID using blueprints until patched. Manually save furniture before testing blueprints.
ALWAYS ensure inventory has enough space before claiming mail rewards. If inventory is full, clear space BEFORE opening mailbox. Once lost this way, items cannot be recovered.
First, check ALL recipe categories in your crafting menu - recipes may appear in unexpected tabs. Restart the game to force recipe list refresh. Check your mailbox for recipe items. If the recipe is still missing after 24 hours, contact support with your purchase receipt, UID, recipe name, and purchase time for manual unlock.
Check all storage locations thoroughly. If confirmed missing, contact support with UID for vehicle restoration.
Always double-check before purchasing. Contact support immediately if accidental purchase occurs (may get one-time courtesy refund).
Check community Discord for shared spawn locations. Items refresh after map reset (relog or wait). Event ends Jan 17, 2026.
Do not feed pets until you receive related quests. If already affected, contact support.
Screenshot completed collections. Contact support with UID, collection completion proof, and missing reward details.
Contact support to restore lost artisan table or receive crafting recipe. This is a quest design issue - unique items needed for quests should be replaceable.
Try dropping and re-picking daisies. If purchased from shop, try picking wild daisies instead (or vice versa). Check if quest can be abandoned and restarted.
Try watering plants in a friend's garden instead of your own. Multiple players report this workaround successfully completes the quest. If quest has a timer, wait for it to reset. Contact support if the issue persists after trying both solutions.
Check mailbox and all tabs. Contact support with screenshots of completed collections.
Check email for payment receipt, verify purchase in App Store/Google Play transaction history, restart game, contact support with receipt.
Try leaving and rejoining guild (check guild cooldown rules first).
This is a fair-play concern. Report suspected exploiters via official Discord or in-game support (Settings > Customer Support > Report Exploit).
Use "Relocate" feature in Settings menu, or restart game.
Restart game frequently when fishing. Avoid fishing during peak hours or busy areas. Fish in less populated zones.
Restart game when fishing hook displaces. Try fishing from different angles or locations. Avoid fishing during lag spikes.
Check community-shared spawn locations on Discord. Try relogging to refresh map spawns. Join friend's world to check their spawns.
Report to support if preventing collection completion. Decorative birds may not be intended to be scannable.
Keep payment receipt/email. Restart game and wait 24 hours. If still missing, contact support with UID, receipt, and transaction ID.
Check App Store/Google Play account payment methods. Ensure sufficient balance. Try different payment method. Restart device and game.
Screenshot PIX confirmation. Contact support immediately with payment proof, UID, and transaction details. Request refund if not resolved within 48 hours.
Contact Apple/Google support immediately for unauthorized purchase refund. Enable parental controls and purchase authentication. Report to game support with transaction details.
Try VPN to different region (EU West recommended). Contact ISP about possible game server blocks. Report to official Discord for server expansion consideration.
Always bind account to Google/Apple/TapTap immediately. Contact support with user ID and purchase receipts for recovery.
Check internet connection. Try switching between WiFi and mobile data. Clear game cache. Restart device. Check if server is under maintenance.
Community reports TikTok has tutorial videos for this fix. Try VPN if in region with connectivity issues. Contact support with device and network info.
Verify internet connection. Try cellular data instead of WiFi (or vice versa). Clear app cache. Check if account is banned (contact support with Game ID).
Do NOT use chat or friend features until tutorial is 100% complete. If already banned, contact support immediately with screenshots and explain the situation.
Force close app completely. Clear app cache. Revoke access from Google account settings page directly. Restart device.
Ensure account was properly bound before uninstalling. Try all previously used login methods (Google/Apple/TapTap/Facebook). Contact support with UID and device info.
First bind an alternative method (Google/Apple). Then contact support to unbind Facebook with Login ID and security concern explanation.
Do NOT create new character. Contact support immediately with Profile ID, Facebook ID, and account details. Recovery may still be possible from server backup.
